Rain has affected the game between Namibia and Netherlands under the ongoing Triangular International T20I Series held at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
The match had to be stopped in the 15th over after it started raining. Namibia which was sent into batting first after losing the toss had made 98 runs, losing four wickets in the 15th over.
The pitch was covered by the sheets of tarpaulin with the expectation that the rain would cease. However, the rain continued to pour down. After the rain played a spoilsport, the match was canceled with two teams sharing one point each.
With this point, Netherlands is atop the points table with five points from four matches followed by Nepal with four points while Namibia is trailing with three points.
Nepal and Netherlands will now lock their horns in the final on Tuesday.
