The Nepal government and the UK government have held a second round of meeting to address the demands raised by former British Gurkhas.
According to the Nepali Embassy, officials of the Ministry of Defense on behalf of the British government and representatives of former Gurkhas participated in the meeting that lasted for about two hours at the Nepali Embassy in London on Wednesday.
In the meeting, the interlocutors dwelled on the demands including equal pension and other benefits raised by former Gurkhas and agreed to hold another meeting as soon as possible, said Roshan Khanal, Deputy Head of the Embassy.
The third round of meeting will be in the second week of December, it is learnt.
The meeting was attended by the office bearers of the Defence Ministry of the British Government and representatives of the Ex-Gurkhas.
