South Korea has created three more sectors for foreign employment targeting Nepali migrant workers.
Korea, which used to hire Nepali people for agriculture, animal husbandry, manufacturing and shipbuilding will now take Nepalis for forest, service and root industry sectors, too, said the Department of Employment under the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security on Thursday.
Nepali can go to Korea for these new sectors from 2024 itself.
In a letter sent to the Nepal government, the Korea government has informed that it will take more Nepali migrant workers in 2024, the EPS Korea Section, Gwarko, said.
