Nepal has registered a second consecutive win against visiting Ireland A by defeating the opponent by 71 runs.
Nepal restricted Ireland A to low 127 runs while the latter was chasing the 199-run target at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Tuesday.
To restrict Ireland A, Sompal Kami and Kushal Malla, took three wickets each giving away 17 and 15 runs, respectively while Karan KC, Kushal Bhurtel and Bibek Yadav grabbed one wicket each.
Chasing the target, Stephen Doheny made the highest 26 runs including four fours and one six, followed by Morgan Topping with 21 runs off 26 balls. Similarly, Cade Carmichael contributed 18 runs while Ross Adair and Neil Rock hit 17 runs each.
Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground, Nepal notched up 198 runs losing seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Gulsan Jha topped the score with 46 runs including one four and four sixes off 32 deliveries followed by Kushal Malla with 34 runs while captain Rohit Paudel contributed 33 and Kushal Bhurtel hit 25 runs, respectively. Similarly, Sundeep Jora made 21 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
On the bowling side, Matthew Foster took the highest three wickets conceding 42 runs followed by Ben White with two wickets.
Similarly, Fionn Hand and Gavin Hoey grabbed one wicket each for Ireland A.
Kushal Malla is declared the Player of the Mach.
