Two minors were killed in a fire that broke out in a house in Achham district on Monday morning.
The deceased have been identified as eight-year-old Bhawana, the daughter of Deepak Bohara, six-year-old Gopal, the son of Ramesh Bohara, said DSP Santosh Pathak, the chief of District Police Office, Achham.
The fire broke out in the house belonging to Khamba Bohara in Mellekh Rural Municipality-6, Shodasha at 10 am today. There were no guardians in the house when the fire broke out.
The two children, who were playing inside the house with a thatched roof suddenly caught fire. All the properties including clothes, foods and utensils were destroyed in the fire.
DSP Pathak said they are investigating the case.
