The Global Fund has pledged to provide Nepal medicine worth US $ 87,361 through Save the Children to fight malaria.

The Fund will provide 8,000 malaria rapid diagnostic test kits. Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has decided to waive taxes on the medication while importing them to Nepal.

Finance Minister Pun has issued a directive to this effect in line with the ministry-level decision taken on April 7, the Finance Ministry said.
