Nepal is taking on Saudi Arabia in the final group stage match under the ACC Premier Cup 2024 today (Wednesday).

The match will start at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground at 11:45 am. Having secured their place in the semi-finals with three impressive victories in a row, today's match is merely a formality for Nepal.

Even if Saudi emerges victorious against Nepal, its path forward will hinge upon its run rate.

Nepal from Group 'A' is atop the points table with six points from three matches. Qatar has four points from four matches while Saudi, Malaysia, and Hong Kong have equal two points from three matches.

While Nepal will take on Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia will be locking their horns in another cricket ground today.

Hence, the path forward for Saudi, Malaysia, and Hong Kong except for Nepal will depend upon their run rate.

Nepal will play the semi-final match with the runner-up of Group 'B'. Hence, Nepal will meet with either Kuwait or UAE in the semi-final. While Oman has already booked its berth in the semi-final, either UAE or Kuwait will be the runner up from Group 'B'.

Kuwait and UAE have equal four points from three matches. Bahrain and Cambodia with two points each from four matches have crashed out of the group stage.
