Nepal lost to visiting West Indies (WI) in the second T20I cricket match held in Kirtipur on Sunday.
WI restricted Nepal to 150 runs while the latter was chasing the 161-run target set by WI.
Obed McCoy and Gudakesh Motie took two wickets each for WI while Oshane Thomas and Roston Chase grabbed one wicket each to prevent Nepal from reaching the target.
Captain Rohit Paudel made the highest 71 runs including six fours and two sixes off 48 deliveries. Similarly, Gulsan Jhap scored 26 runs followed by Lokesh Bam with 17 runs while Aarif Sheikh hit 12 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur today, WI notched up 160 runs losing seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Andre Fletcher topped the score with 43 runs including three sixes off 36 balls followed by Gudakesh Motie with 33 runs while Captain Roston Chase hit 23 runs.
In reply, Sagar Dhakal and Kushal Bhurtel took two wickets while Sompal Kami and Dipendra Singh Airee grabbed one wicket each for Nepal.
