Nepal suffered a 76-run defeat at the hands of West Indies in the third match of the T20 Series held in kirtipur.
West Indies bowled Nepal out for 151 runs with four balls to spare while the latter was chasing the 228-run target. To restrict Nepal from reaching the target, Hayden Walsh took the highest three wickets giving away 28 runs followed by Gudakesh Motie with two wickets while Fabian Allen, Obed McCoy and Matthew Forde claimed one wicket for West Indies.
Chasing the 228-run target, Nepal’s Lokesh Bam and Karan KC took 28 runs each followed by Kushal Mall and Binod Bhandari 20 and 19 runs, respectively. Anil Sah contributed 14 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.

Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, West Indies notched up 227 runs losing three wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Johnson Charles topped the score with 119 not out runs including 13 fours and 7 sixes off 61 deliveries followed by Andre Fletcher with 53 runs. Fabian Allen and Alick Athanaze hit 19 and 17 runs respectively. Similarly, Keemo Paul contributed 13 runs.
On the bowling side, Karan KC and Sagar Dhakal took one wicket each for Nepal.

With the ICC T20 World Cup fast approaching, players on both sides are using the ongoing matches to hone their skills and stake their claim for a spot in the final squad.
