The government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is set to bring the policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year on May 12, Baluwatar sources said.
The fiscal budget should be unveiled on May 28 (Jestha 15) according to the provision laid down in the Constitution of Nepal.
President will read out the government’s policies and programs in the parliament before unveiling the budget.
The Council of Ministers has already collected details of plans and programs from the concerned bodies for budget preparations of the upcoming fiscal year 2081-82.
President Ramchandra Paudel has called the budget session on the recommendation of the government starting May 10.
