Two individuals have been arrested with around Rs 10 million with an unidentified source from Durbar Marg on Thursday night.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested them with Rs 9.8 million while they were traveling in a vehicle near Jaya Nepal Movie Hall, informed SSP Sanuram Bhattarai.
The arrested are men from Butwal in Rupandehi district.
“We make them public by organizing a press meet at 11:30 am,” SSP Bhattarai told Nepalkhabar.
Police have also suspected them to have been involved in gold smuggling.
