The warm-up match scheduled between Nepal and America has been canceled due to bad weather.
America had elected to bat first after winning the toss and Nepal was preparing to field in the last warm-up match before the ICC T20 World Cup.
However, the match was canceled after the heavy rain lashed out at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
America could not play both warm-up matches due to rain. As for Nepal, it had played the first warm-up match with Canada. In the warm-up match held with Canada, Nepal lost to the opponent by 63 runs.
ICC had arranged two warm-up matches for each team participating in the World Cup match.
The warm-up match scheduled between Bangladesh and America for last Tuesday had been canceled due to bad weather.
World Cup is scheduled to start from June 1. America and West Indies are jointly hosting World Cup matches this time. Nepal will play two group stage matches each in America and West Indies, according to the ICC schedule.
Nepal is in group ‘D’ alongside South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Netherlands. Nepal is playing a World Cup match with Netherlands on June 4.
Similarly, Nepal will take on Sri Lanka on June 11, South Africa on June 14 and Bangladesh on June 16.
