Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is making preparations to reform his Council of Ministers by including Nagarik Unmukti Party within a week.
Prachanda has already consulted with chairman of CPN (UML) regarding the inclusion of NUP.
According to sources, Prime Minister Prachanda is preparing to give one minister and one state minister to NUP.
NUP Chairman Ranjita Shrestha confirmed that she is participating in the Prachanda-led cabinet as the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. As for the state minister, the decision will be taken following discussions in the party, Ranjita said.
CPN (Maoist Center)’s Hit Bahadur Tamang is the incumbent Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
