While the eastern part of Nepal is under the influence of monsoon, the rest part of the country is being impacted by local and westerly winds compounded by the low-pressure system formed in the Indian State of Bihar.
The weather is generally cloudy in Koshi and Madhesh Province, partly to generally cloudy in Gandaki and Bagmati, and partly cloudy in the rest of the provinces on Sunday morning.
Currently, the light rain amidst thunderstorms is occurring in some places of Koshi Province, and a few places of Madhesh and Bagmati Province, the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said.
The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces with chances of light to moderate rains amidst thunderstorms and partly cloudy to generally fair in the rest of the provinces.
