Lawyers of Nepal Bar Association (NBA) and Supreme Court Bar Association have staged a sit-in at the Supreme Court after the Parliament Secretariat issued a letter exonerating Chief Justice (CJ) Cholendra Shumsher Rana of impeachment.
Bar Chairman Gopal Krishna Ghimire and Supreme Court Bar Association Purna Man Shakya among others are participating in the sit-in.
With the number of the lawyers increased, the security situation has been tightened.
