According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, the weather is generally cloudy across the countrylight and rain is currently occurring in a few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, and one or two places of Koshi province.
The weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon. A few places in Madhesh Province and some places in the rest of the provinces are likely to experience light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning toward the afternoon. This weather pattern will continue till Wednesday, according to the Department.
Likewise, the weather will be generally cloudy across the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in all the provinces. Heavy rain is also possible in a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
There is a possibility of very heavy rain at night in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, according to a weather bulletin issued by the Department at 6 am today.
