In what we call a gruesome murder, a man murdered a woman over a minor dispute at Chuhandanda in Aathrai Municipality-6, Tehrathum on Wednesday morning.
Krishna Pandhak, 38, hacked 52-year-old Rupa Kandangwa Pandhak to death with a sharp weapon at 10:30 am today, Krishna Prasad Baskota, the ward chairman of Aathrai-6, told Nepalkhabar.
"Krishna Pandhak, 38, hacked Rupa kandangwa Pandhak to death over a minor dispute. Rupa is Krishna's daughter-in-law by relation," Baskota said.
The assailant is at large following the incident. Meanwhile, a team of police from the Area Police Office, Sankranti Bazaar, has been deployed to nab the culprit.
