Grade 12 exams published with 53% pass

The results of grade 12 exams have been published. According to Mahashram Sharma, the chairman of the National Examination Board (NEB), 52.91 percent of examinees have passed the exams.

Sharma said that the exam results can be viewed on the website after half an hour.

“The results have been published. It can be viewed on the website after half an hour," Sharma said, "52.91 percent of students have passed."

An NEB meeting was held today before the results were published. The exam results were announced after the board meeting.

A total of 491,497 students participated in the grade 12 exams for the academic year 2080 BS which was conducted from April 26. On the regular side, 396, 914 female students and 193, 933 male students participated in the 12 exams.

Similarly, 100,650 students participated in grade improvement exams.

A total of 203,847 students passed the examinations. The number of students obtaining 3.61-4 GPA is 9,591.
The number of non-graded students is 187,021 (47.09%). Examination of 102 students was cancelled. 

Results can be viewed by logging in NEB's websites -- www.neb.gov.np, result.neb.gov.np, as well as Nepal Telecom's website -- www.neb.ntc.net.np. Similarly, it can be viewed sending SMS to 1,600 typing neb space and symbol number and 1601 of the Nepal Telecom, added the Board.

According to the Board, the result of grade 12 has been published as per the Letter Grading Directive 2078 like SEE. According to which, students who do not get at least 35 percent marks in theory will be non-graded.
