The man who lost his life in Ghaththaghar road accident has been identified as 65-year-old Uttam Koirala of Chisankhugadhi Rural Municipality-4, Okhaldhunga.
DSP of District Police Range Office, Bhaktapur, Rajan Karki informed that the deceased is 65-year-old Uttam Koirala, a resident of Chisankhugadhi Rural Municipality-4, Okhaldhunga, and currently residing in Kapan, Kathmandu.
"Relatives have come and identified the deceased," DSP Karki told Nepalkhabar, "The body has been kept at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj."
Koirala died on the spot when the scooter, Ba 49 Pa 8944, was hit by a truck, Na 6 Ba 2173 at Gaththaghar at 1:40 pm on Thursday afternoon.
Initially, the police had informed that the scooter driver involved in the accident was a woman, but later rectified it.
