Mamata Kafle Bhatta, a 28-year-old nurse from Prince William Hospital in Virginia, has been missing for the past two weeks, according to reports from American media outlets.
Locals from Manassas have filed a complaint at the police station saying that she has gone missing since July 31.
Mamata had posted on social media that her relationship with her husband was deteriorating. Mamata is a mother of six-month-old baby and she wanted to separate from her husband, according to her post.
She went missing a few days after she posted this message. Her friends said they last saw her on July 28 while her husband claims to have seen her for the last time on July 31.
