The Bagmati Province government has announced a public holiday for coming August 20 to mark the Gaijatra festival.
Minister for Interior Affairs and Law Surajchandra Lamichhane said that the provincial government cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to give a holiday next Tuesday on the occasion of Gaijatra festival.
The same meeting had decided to designate Minister Lamichhane as the Spokesperson of the Bagmati government.
