An avalanche has fallen near Dhaulagiri Icefall in Thasang Rural Municipality-2, Kobang on Friday.
Gautam Sherchan, ward chairman of Thasang Rural Municipality-2, Kobang, informed that an avalanche fell resulting in the blockage of Chhiplung Rivulet.
"An avalanche has fallen in Kobang from above. The rivulet has been blocked by the avalanche," Ward Chair Sherchan said.
The residents living along the coastal areas of the rivulet have been cautioned following the avalanche.
The avalanche site is around 17 km from the district headquarters Jomsom, according to Sherchan.
