Two people have died and 26 others sustained injuries in a bus accident in Banke.
The deceased have been identified as 60-year-old Man Bahadur Oli of Tulsipur, Dang and 24-year-old Santosh Bhusal, co-driver of the bus, according to District Police Office, Banke.
Police said that the bus, Bhe 1 Kha 2128, went out of control and met with an accident on the Nepalganj road section in Janaki Rural Municipality-6, Banke.
The police informed that 20 passengers among those injured were taken to Bheri Hospital for treatment, 5 to Kohalpur Medical College while one person is undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Nursing Home.
