CPN (Unified Socialist) is making preparations to nominate three leaders –Bedu Ram Bhusal, Pramesh Hamal and Ghanendra Basnet – as senior leaders of the party.
Deputy General Secretary Metmani Chaudhary said discussions are underway to nominate Bhusal, Hamal and Basnet as senior leaders of the party.
“A Central Committee meeting held on Thursday also dwelled on nominating Bhusal, Hamal and Basnet as senior leaders,” Chaudhary told Nepalkhabar, “They are likely to be nominated as senior leaders of the party.
These leaders had laid claim to the post of senior leaders. Rajendra Pandey has been elected unopposed as the senior leader after Bhusal, Hamal and Basnet withdrew their candidacies.
Earlier, Bhusal was general secretary and Hamal and Basnet were vice chairpersons.
