Prakash Tamang (Kale Moktan), who stole the limelight following the broadcast of a story 'The Lost Years' by the YouTube channel 'Herne Katha', has reached his home district Bhojpur.
Prakash, who left Chhekampar (Tsum Valley) in Chumanubri Rural Municipality on Thursday (August 29), arrived in Kathmandu on Friday and has reached Bhojpur today.
Journalist Rajesh Rai in coordination with the youths from Bhojpur ushered Prakash to his house in Chhaple village in Shadananda Municipality-10. He flew to Tumlingtar on a flight of Buddha Air from Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday morning before reaching his house. It was his first-ever flight.
A preparation has been made to provide citizenship to Prakash on Sunday morning. Mayor Surendra Kumar Udas and ward chairperson Pema Dorchi Sherpa will hand over citizenship to Prakash in his house.
He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu with the citizenship tomorrow and meet with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on the same.
Oli had directed outgoing Home Secretary and incumbent Chief Secretary Eaknarayan Aryal to make arrangements necessary to grant Prakash citizenship.
The youths of Bhojpur have made arrangements to provide him with citizenship and open a bank account for him. A citizenship card is mandatory for opening a bank account.
The landlord who sheltered Prakash for over three decades bade him a farewell from Tsum Valley promising to provide him with Rs 1 million as soon as he opened a bank account in his name.
While bidding Prakash farewell, the landlord invited him to come to Tsum Valley, suggesting that he would feel at home there.
In response, Prakash said he would do it when he felt like it.
Most of the people who met him on the way have expressed commitment to support him financially. A woman greeted Prakash on his way to Kathmandu and promised him Rs 200,000.
Similarly, Chumanubri Rural Municipality has pledged him Rs 100,000 in financial assistance.
Likewise, Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Karki has also expressed commitment to helping Prakash find a self-employment opportunity.
Similarly, a house is set to be constructed at the initiation of Sudan Kiranti, the former Minister and the lawmaker from this constituency.
Other various institutes have also pledged support for Prakash.
