Heavy rain forecast in some places of five provinces today

The country is under the influence of monsoon with the low-pressure line around the usual position in the west and slightly toward the south in the east.

Currently, the weather is partly to generally cloudy across the country. According to the Weather Forecasting Division, light rain is occurring in Gandaki, Karnali, and one or two places in Sudurpaschim Province.

It will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon as well. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places of remaining provinces.

According to the Division, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the afternoon at one or two places in Kosi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

It will be partly to mostly cloudy over the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces and a few places in the rest of the provinces.

Heavy rain is predicted at one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, according to a weather bulletin issued by the Division at 6 am on Monday.
