A man has killed his wife in cold blood in Pokhara.
Jawar Singh Kunwar, 42, stabbed his wife to death on Wednesday afternoon, the District Police Office, Kaski said.
Originally from Annapurna Rural Municipality-9, Naudanda, Kaski, murder-accused Kunwar and his wife were staying in a rented room at Pokhara Metropolitan City-8, Kunwar tole, according to DPO, Kaski.
The husband attacked his wife Radhika Kunwar with a sharp knife by her neck and belly over a domestic dispute, the police said.
Critically injured Radhika was pronounced dead in the course of treatment at Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences a while ago.
The neighbors reported that the husband and wife, who earlier used to argue over a domestic issue for a long time, might have had another dispute today.
According to the police, the altercation escalated, leading the husband to retrieve a knife from the kitchen and fatally stabbed his wife.
They have a son. The police said they have initiated investigation into the case after taking Jawar Singh under control.
