Maoist Center elects 14 PR lawmakers (With names)

The CPN (Maoist Center) has elected 14 proportional representative (PR) lawmakers to the House of Representatives (HoR).

Based on the votes received under PR system, the party got 14 PR seats in the HoR.

Of the 14 PR seats, Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' finalized the names of 12 women and 2 men.

Among the PR lawmakers elected, Durga Rai, Meena Tamang, Urmila Majhi Poudel, Chhiring Lamhu Lama Tamang represent the Adivasi cluster.

Under Khas-Arya cluster, Hitraj Pandey, Gyanu Basnet Subedi, Bimala Subedi and Narayani Sharma have been selected.

Similarly, Rupa Sosi Chaudhary has been selected under the Tharu cluster, while Ranendra Baraili and Sushila Sripali Thakuri have been selected under the Dalit cluster.

Similarly, while Meena Yadav and Umrawati Devi Yadav were selected from the Madhesi side, Kalpana Mian was selected from the Muslim side.
