Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has said the government's preparations to bring an ordinance to release Resham Chaudhary, who is the kingpin of the Tikapur incident and currently languishing in Dillibazaar Prison, is wrong.
Stating that the party could not bear the burnt of the government's wrong decision, he said the NC's opinion about the ordinance is clear.
Recalling several NC decisions regarding ordinances in the past, he wrote on social media, "There has been no discussion or decision in the party about this ordinance."
