Four dead in vehicular collision at Chitwan's Satrakilo

Four people died when a bus and a Hiace vehicle collided head-on at Satrakilo on the Narayangadh-Muglin road in the wee hours on Friday.

The Hiace vehicle, Bagmati Province 06-001 Ja 0298, heading to Narayangadh from Muglin collided head-on with a bus, Bagmati Province 03-001 Kha 2812, coming from Narayangadh at around 3 am today.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, three men and one woman were killed in the accident. All the deceased are passengers of Hiace vehicle.

One among the deceased has been identified as Raj Bahadur Gurung of Arughat Rural Municipality-1, Gorkha, the DPO, Chitwan, said. The others are yet to be identified. 

Meanwhile, the bus driver, 40-year-old Suryabikram Bista, a resident of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan city of Makwanpur, has been detained by the police.

Four other people sustained injuries in the accident, and two of them are in critical condition, the police said.
