Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba is flying to China tomorrow in preparation of the upcoming China visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Minister Rana will hold a bilateral meeting with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Chengdu on Friday evening.
According to a source at the Foreign Ministry, Minister Rana will fly to Chengdu on Thursday.
She will return to Kathmandu after holding a minister-level meeting and will fly to Beijing along with Prime Minister Oli on December 2.
The foreign ministry source told Nepalkhabar, "Chinese Foreign Minister has a program in Chengdu. That is why the meeting will be held in Chengdu instead of Beijing. The rest of the program remains the same."
The two leaders will have comprehensive discussions on matters of mutual interest between the two countries including the preparation of the upcoming official visit of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli to China.
The Foreign Minister will return to Kathmandu on November 30.
