'Mahabir Pun' sells 150,000 copies, generates over Rs 90 mln

Dr. Mahabir Pun, the founder of National Innovation Center, has sold 150,000 copies of his book in 2024.

He sold his autobiography 'Mahabir Pun' to bring Krishi Aujar Karkhana into operation in Birgunj, which had been closed due to a lack of funds.

According to Pun, he has collected over Rs 90 million through the sale of 150,000 copies of his book in various country across the country.

"Dear brothers and sisters, the number of books sold in 2024 has crossed 150, 000 copies," Pun has posted on social media platform, "I expect your cooperation to sell at least the same number of books in 2025. I sold books in 38 districts in the period of 283 days covering the distance of 15,038 kilometers. Krishi Aujar Karkhana has now smoothly come into operation. Please go and watch it."

Pun has set a goal of selling 300,000 copies of his book to resume operation of long-neglected Krishi Aujar Karkhana in Birgunj. The 308-page book is priced at Rs 750.
