Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said he was deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake in China.
Prime Minister Oli has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping, the people of China and the bereaved families through social media today.
"Nepal stands firmly with its neighboring country in this difficult time. Our condolences and prayers will be with you," PM Oli said.
