Monetary aid to earthquake survivors in Tibet

A Nepali Welfare Fund based in Lhasa has provided Rs 3.7 million to survivors of the recent earthquake in Dingri County, Tibet, an autonomous region of China.

The funds were raised by the Nepali community residing in Lhasa, and the Lhasa-based Consulate General of Nepal facilitated the handover of the assistance amount today through the Red Cross in Lhasa.

On the occasion, Consul General Laxmi Prasad Niraula talked about vivid aspects of Nepal-China relations.
