The chairman of the main opposition party, CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has taken strong exception to the government for bringing the ordinance.
Speaking at a press conference organized by the Press Center Sindhupalchowk in Sukute on Tuesday morning, Prachanda, who is also the former Prime Minister, commented that the KP Oli-led government brought the ordinance because it lacked the moral courage to face the House.
Prachanda claimed that this proved that the current government is the weakest, most helpless and irresponsible.
"The government is heading in the opposite direction. The government delayed summoning of the House to intentionally rule the country through ordinance," Prachanda said, "Bringing the ordinance means the incumbent government lacks the moral courage to face the House. It proves that the government is the weakest, most helpless and irresponsible. The House should be called at the earliest."
