Two killed as  Nepali and Indian motorcycles collide in Kapilvastu

Two people have died after two Nepali and Indian motorcycles collided in Kapilvastu.

Two motorcycles with Nepali and Indian number plates collided with each other on the inner road section of Banganga Municipality-11 Deupar, according to the District Police Office, Kapilvastu.

The deceased are Nehaman Ali, 35, of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality-1, Kapilvastu, the driver of the motorcycle with Indian number plate UP-55 AH 7090, and Roman Tharu, 27, of Sainamaina-4, Kapilvastu, the driver of the motorcycle, Lu 10 Pa 4496.

Tharu, who sustained critical injuries, breathed his last at Sajha Hospital while Nehaman Ali died at Medical College, Bhairahawa, DSP Adhikari said.

Police have speculated that the motorcycle accident occurred due to high speed.

Similarly, Ajaya Tharu, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle, Lu 10 Pa 4496, sustained critical injuries. He is undergoing treatment at Sajha Hospital.
