Dharan Sub Metropolitan City Mayor Harka Sampang has arrived in Kathmandu with an empty old pile symbolically urging the government to address the water shortage issue in Dharan.
Sampang is making preparations to hand over the empty dented pile to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel and Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation Pradeep Yadav.

Mayor Sampang will hand over the pile during the meeting with the meet with the Prime Minister and other ministers on Tuesday.
Sampang, who raised the water shortage as an agenda during the mayoral election, has been working to address the scarcity of drinking water in Dharan.
