NC lawmakers question ordinances; PP meet postponed until Jan 31

Lawmakers of Nepali Congress (NC) have raised questions on issues including ordinances, budget and parliament session in the parliamentary party (PP) meeting of the party held in Singha Durbar.

NC Chief Whip Shyam Ghimire informed that a total of 17 lawmakers floated their views in the PP meeting today.

"Lawmakers have raised questions on issues including parliament session, ordinance and budget in the PP meeting today," Ghimire said, "They floated crucial views on the issues."

He further said that some lawmakers are yet to put fourth their views.  "Once they finish expressing their views, concerned ministers will answer their questions," said Ghimire," The next meeting will take place at 8 am on January 31."

Most of the lawmakers urged the ministers to put their best while discharging their duties and responsibilities, according to lawmaker Ram Hari Khatiwada.

Similarly, President Sher Bahadur Deuba directed the ministers to work in coordination with lawmakers.
