APF Football Club has lifted the ANFA Women's League trophy by defeating Nepal Police Club in the departmental derby.
APF, which has been ruling the roost in the women's league for a long time, won the league title by remaining unbeaten.
APF defeated Police Club 4-0 in the final held at Dasharath Rangshala in Tripureshwar on Wednesday.
Sabita Rana Magar scored two goals to give APF the title. Saru Limbu and Anu Lama scored one goal each.
Both goals were scored in the second half of the match, which ended in a goalless draw in the first half. APF took the early lead with a goal from Sabita Rana Magar in the 64th minute of the match.

In the 69th minute, Saru Limbu doubled the team's lead by scoring a rebound from Rashmi Kumari Ghising's header that hit the bar.
In the 83rd minute of the match, Sabita added her second personal goal and scored the third goal for the team. APF registered a 4-0 victory with Anu Lama's goal in the injury time.

This is Police Club's third consecutive loss to APF in the league to capture the title.
With the win, APF received Rs 1 million along with the title. Police Club, which became the runner-up, received Rs 500,000 in cash prize.
