A Nepali youth from Nuwakot has been found dead in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Kuber Tiwari, 42, of Belkotgadhi Municipality-10, Nuwakot, was found hanging in the workplace of his company, his family sources have said.
Tiwari's colleague working in the same company informed the deceased's younger brother Hahihar Tiwari that Kuber was found dead on January 31, according to Prahlad Prasad Thapaliya, ward chair of Belkotgadhi-10.
Kuber had not come to Nepal for a long time after his term deteriorated with his wife. His wife had been staying in his father's house with her son.
Kuber, who worked in the UAE, had visited Nepal only once in 12 years. Following his death, his younger brother prepared to file a case of abetment of suicide at the District Police Office, alleging his wife and another man were responsible.
However, the police advised him to pursue legal action only after Kuber's body was brought back to Nepal.
Kuber's family has applied through the Consular Department for the repatriation of his body.
