Israeli President Isaac Herzog has said that Israel is making every effort to ensure the safe release of Nepali student Bipin Joshi, who was kidnapped by Hamas militants.
President Herzog made this statement in a telephone conversation with Nepali Ambassador to Israel Prof. Dhan Prasad Pandit.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Pandit spoke with President Herzog over the telephone on Tuesday evening.
“During the telephone conversation, President Herzog, among other things, said he is making every effort to ensure the safe release and repatriation of all the hostages including Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student taken captive during its attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, by Hamas," reads the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry.
