Nepal has faced a 10-wicket humiliating defeat at the hands of Netherlands in the ongoing Women's T20I Tri-Series.
This is the fifth consecutive defeat faced by Nepal in the ongoing T20I Tri-Series underway in Kirtipur.
Chasing the 146-run target set by Nepal, Netherlands reached it in 19.4 overs without losing any wickets.

With the help of Sterre Kalis's 98-run score, Netherlands managed to inflict a 10-wicket humiliating defeat on Nepal. Kalis notched up 11 fours and 2 sixes off 69 deliveries and remained unbeaten. Similarly, another opener Phebe Molkenboer notched up 48 runs including 4 fours off 49 balls.
On the bowling side, none of the Nepali bowlers could take any wickets for Nepal.

Earliier, electing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepal notched up 145 runs losing 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Puja Mahato topped the score with 62 runs including 5 fours off 51 balls followed by cricketer Indu Barma with 39 runs while Rubina Chhetry contributed 20 runs. The other batters could not achieve double-digit runs.
In reply, Iris Zwilling took 2 wickets while Caroline de Lange and Heather Siegers grabbed 1 wicket each for Netherlands.
