Nepal has played a draw with Myanmar, each scoring 2 goals each in the first stage match of the International Women's Championship played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar.
Nepal conceded a first goal after Myanmar scored a goal in the 7th minute of the first half.
In the 11th minute, Neal equalized the score after Sabita Rana Magar converted the pass from Sabita Bhandari Samba into a goal. After a few minutes, Myanmar scored another goal against Nepal. In the 16th minute, Myanmar's Yee Tun scored another goal for Myanmar, taking the 2-1 lead against Nepal.
Samba scored a goal in the 41st minute, leveling the score. Samba netted a ball capitalizing on the pass from Preeti Rai.
Despite good attempts and opportunities, none of the teams scored additional goals in the second half.
Samba was declared the player of the match. She received cash prize of Rs 25,000.
Having already reached the final, Nepal and Myanmar will now compete for the title on Wednesday (February 26).

In the 27th minute of the game, Samba's free kick went directly into the hands of Myanmar's goalkeeper. In the 32nd minute, Myint Mo free kick was caught by Nepal's goalkeeper Anjana.
In the 63rd minute of the game, Win Theingi Tun's free kick was caught by goalkeeper Anjana.
In the 73rd minute of the game, Rashmi Kumari Ghising's header from Preeti Rai's free kick went straight into the goalkeeper's hands.
Immediately after, Nepal missed an opportunity to take the lead when Renuka Nagarkote's shot was also caught by the keeper.
