In a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday, lawmaker Dr Amaresh Kumar Singh has demanded the government unveil details of funds that entered the country through the non-governmental and international non-governmental sectors. He also wanted the government prove the utility of such funds.

The House should have access to information about the size of funds that entered into the country through the NGOs and INGOs, he said.

He urged the government to issue a White Paper regarding this. He also questioned the government about the reason behind Nepal falling on the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF)

Roshan Karki condemned the rape on a 12-year-old girl from Achham allegedly by her adult relative while she had been in India. He demanded the guarantee of justice for the survivor.

Similarly, Dhruba Bahadur Khanal drew the government's attention to the need for timely auctions of goods seized for evading taxes.

"Sugar worth Rs five million has been stored in Maheshpur and it is likely to take Rs 5,000 to destroy in absence of the lack of its auction on time. Other customs points in the country feature the shortage seized goods including motor vehicles that are already rusty.

Similarly, Ranju Kumari Jha stressed the need of focusing on to sort out disputes surfaced during an implementation of the Pathibhara Cable Car Project in Taplejung.  Speaking at a zero hour, she called for undertaking the development endeavors through cooperation with the locals rather than ignoring them.

She also urged the locals to be aware of the need for development. She wanted the government to take necessary actions to withdraw Nepal from the FATF grey list.
