English question paper leaked from Janakpur exam center within an hour of SEE commencement

We will investigate it, says Madhesh Province Education Director Thulo Babu Dahal

In less than an hour into the start of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), the English subject question paper was leaked from an exam center in Janakpur.

The first day of the SEE concluded today with the English subject exam. Local authorities have initiated an investigation after the English question paper was made public on social media platform Facebook within an hour.

Mr Thulo Babu Dahal, Director of the Education Development Directorate, Madhesh Province, Janakpur, stated that he was only recently informed about the question paper leak. "I also just heard about the question paper leak from Janakpur," Director Dahal told Nepalkhabar. "Mobile phones are prohibited inside the exam center. The entire responsibility for exam management lies with the District Education Coordination Unit and the Exam Coordination Committee. We will also investigate what happened."

Although it is said that the question paper was leaked from an exam center in Janakpur, the specific center has not yet been disclosed. It is speculated that the center head may have leaked the question paper.
