Girl, who returned home after taking SEE, commits suicide

A teenage girl, who returned home after taking the Secondary Education Exam (SEE), committed suicide in Bajhang district.

Akanksha Malla, 17, of Kedarsyun Rural Municipality-1, Rayal, of the district was found hanging in the room of her house, the District Police Office, Bajhang said.

Akanksha returned home after taking the exam of science subject on Tuesday. She was found hanging in the room in the evening. A suicide note was also found at the incident site, the police said.

 "I chose the way of suicide because of myself, not because of anyone else," reads the press note.

However, the reason behind committing suicide is not confirmed yet, according to police.

She many have committed suicide after failing to perform well in the exam.

She was the student of Garjepani Secondary School in Kedarsyun Rural Municipality-1, Rayal. Her father teaches at the same school.
