Eight vehicles have been set on fire at the herbal processing center at Jadibuti area in Koteshwar.

The Home Ministry has informed that royalists set fire to the vehicles.

During a press conference held by the Home Ministry, Under-Secretary Chhabi Rijal stated, "Anyone who takes the law into their own hands will be held accountable. They will be brought under control. No one needs to panic. Even if such an incident happens one day, it won’t always be like this."

He mentioned that those involved in the riot would be identified and brought to book.

"This is unforgivable," she said. "We will leave no stones unturned to bring them to book. If not today, we will take action based on records. Even now, some people are reported to be trapped in certain places. Security personnel are rescuing them."

"Physical infrastructure and vehicles have been set on fire," she further added. "I am amazed at where this crowd is leading us. This is a criminal act of violence. The government will not always remain restrained like this. It is the government’s responsibility to ensure public safety, and by changing security strategies, further actions will be taken."
