Australian former cricketer Stuart Law has been appointed as the head coach of the Nepali men's cricket team.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) issued a press release on Friday, informing that the Australian former batsman has been appointed for a period of two years, effective from April.
Previously, he had also worked as the head coach of the American team. In October 2024, he left the American team just one day before they were to face Nepal in the ICC World Cup League 2.
He also has experience working as the head coach of Afghanistan for some time.
He has also worked briefly as the interim coach of Sri Lanka.
Under his leadership, Bangladesh reached the Asia Cup final for the first time. However, he parted ways with the Bangladeshi team after just nine months as coach.
After that, he was appointed as the batting coach of Australia's national team. In 2017, he was given responsibility for the West Indies. Before that, he also worked as a technical advisor for Bangladesh's U-19 team.
