Senior Vice Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rabindra Mishra, and General Secretary, Dhawal Shamsher Rana, have been arrested.
Police arrested them on Friday evening.
RPP leader Sagun Sundar Lawati informed Nepalkhabar that the police arrested them while they were returning after visiting the injured at B&B Hospital and took them to Teku.
Similarly, a team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has taken Nawaraj Subedi and Swagat Nepal under control.
Subedi is the coordinator of the Joint People's Movement Operation Committee, a group of supporters of the former king, while Nepal is the spokesperson.
According to the police, two other individuals named Sephad Limbu and Santosh Tamang have also been arrested.
They were detained on charges of involvement in incidents such as robbery, arson, and other crimes.
