Three more Nepalis deported by the US have arrived in Kathmandu. The three Nepalis arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday via a chartered US flight.
According to immigration sources, an American aircraft with registration number G-176 SM landed at Tribhuvan International Airport carrying the deported Nepalis.
Following the policy of US President Donald Trump, three more Nepalis have been deported.
Earlier, on March 5, a US chartered flight had brought eight Nepalis deported by the US, and prior to that, 27 Nepali nationals had also been repatriated in a similar manner.
Since the deported Nepalis have already faced legal action and fines under US law, no further action will be taken against them in Nepal.
After Donald Trump was elected President of the US, his administration has been deporting immigrants who entered the country illegally.
In the first phase, the US administration has prepared to deport 1,445,549 immigrants residing illegally in the country.
